So you see I removed the actual flat base and sticky and then popped a hole through the rubber outer boot of the radio surround pad...

Then I used the same screw to secure it on the edge of my radio this is why I like the cradles I can move them to any ball mount already installed or even to flat or magnetic steel inside jeep...
