2019 JLUR Auto Start Stop Battery Bypass... Retain use of Auto Start Stop FREE

  • Admin

My Auto Start stop battery went dead...
Now I need a new start stop battery...

But instead...

Ill be pulling Fuse F42 which is a 10 amp

and then removing the ground from the top post of the battery and eliminating the Auto Start Stop Battery...

While still retaining Auto Start Stop features...

And well its free...

If you have an error light still showing up on dash you can disconnect battery for 15 minutes or continue to drive until system resets usually after 55 mph...

:)

A friend of ours has a 23 JLU that is push button with no power anything. Her start stop stopped working and her husband and I pulled the lid off the box for the battery for it and nothing there. No battery no wires nothing. Changed her main battery and everything works again.

Same thing! When I originally bought my gladiator it didn't work at all 🤷 never knew I even had that feature until my batteries both went dead! Replaced the main battery and disconnected the auxiliary battery, boom! Started working 🤷 I prefer that it didn't work

That's what our friend says also. She hates having to push the button to shut it off every time she turns it off.
