  1. Thank you.
  2. That's what our friend says also. She hates having to push the button to shut it off every time she turns it off.
  3. Completely understand that.
  4. I haven't applied mine yet. Having to do the adult thing before going on vacation is not a bit of fun.
  5. Hi

I guess I'm late to the party as usual. Howdy y'all.
  6. Tell me about it. Just dropped 6k on my wife's JKU for a new 3.8 after 300,000 miles and the damn thing is in the shop again for an electrical issue. Wouldn't start 75% of the times you turn key. Ended up being a severely corroded ground. Mechanic found it, got that fixed and we go to pick it up and won't stay running. Damn fuel pump went out on it. Then we had a wreck back in March while setting at a stop sign. Wife's car got totaled so now we're car shopping again after a year.
  7. Nice seeing more people migrate in.
  8. A friend of ours has a 23 JLU that is push button with no power anything. Her start stop stopped working and her husband and I pulled the lid off the box for the battery for it and nothing there. No battery no wires nothing. Changed her main battery and everything works again.

I always tell people when they say or ask on Facebook help me name my Jeep. Take it out and wheel it hard it will tell you it's name.
  10. Oh man I thought we were going to go wheeling......lol.
  11. Well hello and welcome to the group.

    Welcome from Oklahoma.

My YJ is named after my Nephew that I got it from that is no longer with us. My TJ is Backwoods cuz that's where we live. My wife's JKU is Dirty Girl cuz when we would go to meet and greets in OKC we would always get told that's one dirty girl (we live on dirt roads).
  15. Thing about it if they catch on fire and they recognize the problem they have to cover the Jeep.
  16. Looks good. What did you do with the yellowed one? Repurpose it or trash it?
  17. Too many things on these newer Jeeps to go wrong electronically for me. That's why I prefer my TJ and my YJ over the wife's JKU. I've been driving for damn near 60 yrs don't need a computer to tell me when to brake, shift, slow down.
  18. I completely understand. My spare on my work truck doesn't have the wheel sensor in it. I rotate all 5 tires every 5,000 miles. It drives my wife crazy seeing the light in the dash when we use it to pick up something.

This is the stuff that new Jeep owners don't understand. I see people in Jeep groups all the time asking what should I name my Jeep? Help me name my Jeep. It will earn it's name by driving it, wheeling it or just something that you have to deal with in it.

Wouldn't know what to do without my labors of love.
  21. Just pull the dash and pull the bulb out. Problem solved.
  22. Redneck Tim replied to ndkshns's topic in XJ's
Sounds and looks like a nice setup.
  23. Those stupid things drive me crazy. I personally would have the light on the dash instead.
  24. Well you know even that outer earthlings have Jeeps too.
