    Welcome from Oklahoma.

My YJ is named after my Nephew that I got it from that is no longer with us. My TJ is Backwoods cuz that's where we live. My wife's JKU is Dirty Girl cuz when we would go to meet and greets in OKC we would always get told that's one dirty girl (we live on dirt roads).
  5. Thing about it if they catch on fire and they recognize the problem they have to cover the Jeep.
  6. Looks good. What did you do with the yellowed one? Repurpose it or trash it?
  7. Too many things on these newer Jeeps to go wrong electronically for me. That's why I prefer my TJ and my YJ over the wife's JKU. I've been driving for damn near 60 yrs don't need a computer to tell me when to brake, shift, slow down.
  8. I completely understand. My spare on my work truck doesn't have the wheel sensor in it. I rotate all 5 tires every 5,000 miles. It drives my wife crazy seeing the light in the dash when we use it to pick up something.

This is the stuff that new Jeep owners don't understand. I see people in Jeep groups all the time asking what should I name my Jeep? Help me name my Jeep. It will earn it's name by driving it, wheeling it or just something that you have to deal with in it.

Wouldn't know what to do without my labors of love.
  11. Just pull the dash and pull the bulb out. Problem solved.

Sounds and looks like a nice setup.
  13. Those stupid things drive me crazy. I personally would have the light on the dash instead.
  14. Well you know even that outer earthlings have Jeeps too.
  15. We're at 4.88 with the Dana 30 and non Rubicon 44. If I go 37'a or 38's it will get tons so might as well go 40's right?
  16. AI is definitely getting better. It's like anything else though the more people use it and have it do different things the better it will get at its job. Well except for the kid I got stuck with this week. Had him for 2 months and he didn't retain anything I taught him.
  17. Sorry that is happening to you too. These 30 yr olds these days need some help. I know my wasn't raised that way.

The 1983 CJ-5 is what set me wanting a Jeep as a youngster. A friend's dad had one with a Chevy Small block 400 &turbo 400 transmission. He picked us up from wrestling practice one day and white smoked all 4 tires. I was hooked from them on.
  19. Well you do remember the acronym for Jeep. Just seems like they always act up when things seem to be going smooth for a change.

Nice looking rig. Looks like you have put a few hours work into it. I'm with Mark what is going into the window section. What air setup are you running? What axles are you running underneath it? Inquiry minds want to know....lol
  21. I wish my grandkids were keeping me busy. Especially the 3 younger ones. Their parents don't think that we are safe enough for them to be around with us supporting our president.
  22. On my wife's JKU we have stayed with 35x12.5x17 mainly because she is 55 yrs old, 5' 5" with short legs. Even though we have a step type running board it is a big step up for her even with the grab handle. She wants to go to 40's but can't make that climb with the doors on it.
  23. 1 - 2 1 - 2 Is this thing even on?
